This week, fourth graders participated in "The Math Trail". An activity that was originally developed in 2010 by Mrs. Sugrue and redesigned this year by Mrs. Burkett. The Math Trail is a sequence of stops along a preplanned route around HCS where students look at math in their environment. They worked cooperatively in a group and used what they have learned in the classroom to solve problems in the “real world”. Students visited 10 stops in the HCS building and on HCS grounds including a bat box, the husky mascot wall, and the nurse's office.
