What Can We Do at Home to Help our Learning?
Students should read for 20 minutes each night from a book appropriate for his/her current reading level. After reading, it's a great idea for parents and students to have a book chat about what's happening in the book. This is a great way for students to build comprehension.
Students should also practice their addition/subtraction and multiplication/division math facts using Reflex Math or flashcards.
When spelling tests are approaching, students are encouraged to choose a preferred study method to practice the words at home.
